We will never sell or otherwise knowingly release your email address to any third party, for any purpose. You may receive occasional emails from the site administrators, but these will be few in number and we will soon have a mechanism that will allow you to opt out.
No, there is no requirement for you to register with the site, however there is only a small amount of information for those who are not registered. If you do register (and go through the email confirmation process) a small amount of additional content will become available, but, perhaps more importantly we will be able to add you to a specific user group that will allow you to access content that is specific to you (for example updated course material from the University of Otago, or CCAT information).
